NEW IN 3.7
- Your Apple Watch now starts measuring by itself. Begin a workout on your iPhone and Gym Log+ opens on your watch on its own — live heart rate, real calorie burn and Activity ring credit without touching the watch. A switch in Settings → Apple Watch turns it off
- Your routine's plan, on your wrist. The sets list on the watch gains a Plan section under Today and Last time — the prescribed sets, reps and weight — and tapping it loads those targets into the entry fields, ready to log
- Routine Stats now opens your workouts. Tap any session in the list to see and edit that day's full workout, the same screen History shows, so a routine's chart, its sessions and the actual sets are finally one path
- Auto-advance understands logging out of order. When you finish an exercise it moves to the next one you haven't finished — skipping what you already did ahead of order, and circling back if the work that's left is behind you
- Sets that read "Unknown" can be fixed, and new ones fix themselves. If an exercise record was ever lost, its sets showed as "Unknown" with nothing left to say what they were. Every set and routine slot now remembers its exercise's name, shows that instead of "Unknown", and relinks itself automatically at the next launch. For damage from before this update there's an Assign Exercise button: check the sets that belong together, pick the exercise, and they are that exercise's history again — records and "last time" included. Routine slots get the same treatment
FIXED
- If a workout can't be saved to Apple Health, the app now tells you instead of failing quietly: a notice after the workout with the way to fix it, and a status row under Settings → Apple Health showing whether saving is allowed and what the last check did. Workouts that missed Health also recover in more cases now, and a rare double entry from finishing just as the watch takes over cleans itself up
- The rest-timer sound could go silent inside the app — after a phone call, switching headphones, or an audio hiccup — and stay silent until you re-picked the sound in Settings. It now checks itself and repairs the sound every time the timer goes off
- A workout could jump to the Finished screen while an exercise you had added still had nothing logged. That exercise now counts, on your iPhone and especially on your watch, where it showed up most
