Gym Log+ Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Gym Log+ app and the gymlogplus.com website, operated by Minds Aspire LLC.

The short version

Gym Log+ has no accounts, no sign-in, and no server of ours that ever sees your data. Everything you log stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud database that only your Apple ID can access. We cannot read your workouts. We collect no analytics, run no ads, and use no third-party tracking of any kind.

What the app stores, and where

• Your training data — workouts, sets, routines, programs, body weight, measurements, progress photos, notes, and settings — is stored on your device.
• If your device is signed into iCloud, that data syncs through CloudKit's private database, which is encrypted and scoped to your Apple ID. Apple's infrastructure carries it; we have no access to it and no servers of our own. Progress-photo image files are currently stored only on the device where they were added.
• Backups you export (.gymbackup, CSV) are files you create and control; they go only where you send them.

Apple Health

If you turn on Health sync (off by default), the app writes workouts and body weight you log to Apple Health and reads body-weight entries from it. Health data is used only on your device for the features you see; it is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and is never used for advertising or shared with third parties. You can revoke access anytime in the Health app.

Photos

Adding a progress photo uses Apple's photo picker, which shares only the specific images you choose. The app never has access to your photo library.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Purchase records live with your Apple ID (and the App Store receipt on the device), which is also how your original Gym Log+ purchase is recognized and honored.

What leaves your device

• Nothing identifying, ever. The app makes one kind of network request of its own: it fetches a small static configuration file from gymlogplus.com (used, for example, to pause the data importer remotely if a serious bug is found). This is a plain download with no account, no identifiers, and no payload about you. As with any web request, the server that hosts the file may keep standard access logs (IP address, timestamp) for a short period; we do not use them to identify or track you.
• Crash and diagnostic data reaches us only through Apple's standard, opt-in mechanisms (the iOS analytics-sharing setting you control) or when you personally choose Settings → Feedback → Report a Problem, which composes an email you can review before sending — its diagnostics attachment contains app/device info and recent log lines, never your workout data.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is yours. Delete the app and its on-device data is removed; delete the data from iCloud (Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage) to remove synced copies. Deleting a profile inside the app permanently removes that profile's data. We hold nothing to delete on our end, because nothing was ever sent to us.

The website

gymlogplus.com is an informational site for the app. It has no accounts, no store, and no sign-up forms, and we do not set tracking cookies. As with any website, the server that hosts it may keep standard transient access logs (IP address, timestamp).

Children

Gym Log+ is a fitness tracker rated 16+ on the App Store. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone — child or adult; the app collects nothing about you by design.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date. Material changes will be called out in the app's release notes.
