NEW IN 3.3
- Compare any two workouts side by side: totals with the change between them, an exercise-by-exercise breakdown, and Set by set to line them up one against one. Compare mid-workout against any past day — from the checklist button or your finish page — and a routine's stats can compare its two latest sessions
- The plate calculator now works in both directions: tap the plates you've loaded and it totals them with the bar, then Use drops the weight into the entry field. And the bar is yours to set per exercise — 35 for a women's bar, 25 for an EZ-curl, or type your own
- The log screen catches up with your hands. Tap a logged set to load it back into the fields ready to log again (long-press to edit); reorder, add or remove exercises mid-workout from the checklist; the time since your last set ticks under the workout clock — tap it on a timed exercise and it fills the duration field; and the ½ button logs half reps, like the old app
- Your own weight step: the − / + buttons move by whatever step you choose — 4.54 kg for a 10 lb cable stack — and a long-press sets a different step for a single lift
- Forgot an exercise? Open the workout in History and add it, or add a set to any exercise already there — the workout's times, duration and program progress stay exactly as you finished them
- New here? Gym Log+ asks what you're training for and hands you a ready-made plan to match — and the Workout tab offers the same whenever you've nothing set up yet
- Search your routines by name from the Workout tab — built for the libraries where folders organize but don't make a long list short
- Your units, rest timers and appearance now follow you between devices over iCloud
- Stats opens for everyone: your last 3 months are free, full history and all-time records are Pro — and Pro features now wear a small PRO tag up front instead of telling you when you tap. The free tier gets 4 routines, and every catalog plan can be installed free
⚠ In a Family Sharing group with someone who bought Pro in the old Gym Log+? Their purchase now unlocks Pro on your device too — nothing to do beyond Restore Purchases [⚠ GATED — include only if the Family Sharing gate passed]
FIXED
- Workouts that didn't reach Apple Health now get there: a failed save retries next launch, and every past workout has a Save to Health button. Saving twice can't create a duplicate
- Start a workout on your iPhone and your Apple Watch now measures it like a watch workout: live heart rate, Activity ring credit, and calories from what you actually did
- A routine's "Last" date could show a workout you discarded — or vanish after signing into a new device. Both fixed, and dates already wrong correct themselves
- The body-weight chart no longer starts at zero: it zooms to your actual range, goal line in view. Progress charts fit the same way
- An exercise from the old app whose name differed only in capitalization from a built-in split your history in two — merged back automatically
- The Body tab's buttons could do nothing at all; every one works now, and the whole tab reads properly under VoiceOver
