NEW IN 3.21
- Archive routines you're done with. Long-press a routine for Archive, or use a folder's Archive All Routines: archived routines leave the Workout tab, your watch and every picker, and keep every workout you ever logged against them. Nothing is deleted. The new Organize button holds the way back — Archived Routines, grouped by the folder they came from, with search and Unarchive All to bring a whole program back in one tap. For a library grown over years, Review Unused Routines lists everything you haven't started in twelve months, oldest first and already selected. Deleting lives there too: swipe an archived routine to remove it, and the confirmation says how many workouts were logged against it and what they keep
- Log any exercise, no routine needed. Open an exercise and its page now carries Log This Exercise along the bottom, wherever you have scrolled. With nothing running it starts a workout holding just that exercise; mid-workout it adds it and takes you to it. Select several on the Exercises tab and Log Now does the same for all of them. Until now every path from an exercise led to a routine, so logging something outside your plan meant leaving the page, finding Start Empty Workout and searching for the exercise again
- Merge one profile into another. If your history ended up split — an import that landed in a second profile, a device that seeded its own — Settings → Profile → Merge Profiles folds one into the profile you're on. Before anything moves, the confirmation says exactly what will: how many workouts and sets, body logs, photos, routines, folders and programs. Records, stats and streaks are then recalculated from the combined history. A Back Up First button sits above the list with the date of your last backup, because this can't be undone from inside the app
- Deleting routines tells you what depends on them. Delete a folder a program was made of and the confirmation offers to delete the program too; if only some of its routines are used, it names the days that will show Missing routine. The Programs list says it too — "2 of 4 days missing a routine" — instead of reading like any other row until you open it
- Plan and program screens hold still. On a plan preview every exercise opens its page, and the Add or Start button sits in a bar along the bottom instead of below the last routine. A program's page is a page until you tap Edit — its name a title, its notes a paragraph — so a stray tap can't rename it. And the "want a reminder on training days?" offer now comes from every door a program starts from, not just the guided start
- Tips & Help has a jump rail — the same index the Exercises tab uses, down the edge of nine sections of reading
FIXED
- Your watch keeps up with routine changes. Reordering routines or moving a folder saved on the phone but never reached the wrist, so its start list kept the old order — and a deleted routine stayed there until the app was reinstalled. Both reach it now, and two routines sharing a position can no longer read in one order on the phone and another on the watch
- The Programs button survives a search. On the Workout tab, the calendar button at the top left vanished after any routine search and stayed gone until the tab was rebuilt
- A blank band under the logging controls. Leaving the workout screen with the keyboard up and coming back could leave the controls sitting a keyboard's height above empty space, until the app was killed
