NEW
- Describe a routine and it's built from exercises you can do. On New Routine, say what you want — "upper body push day, barbell and dumbbells, about 45 minutes, nothing overhead" — and the routine fills in: exercises from the library and your own, in a sensible order, with sets and reps for the style you asked for. Your sentence becomes the routine's note; edit anything, or tap Build Again
- Describe your training and the Program Builder fills itself in. "3 days a week, dumbbells and a bench, want to get stronger" sets the goal, days and equipment for you to check before you build
- Program Builder can build every day from exercises you can do. Switch Build from to Apple Intelligence and it picks a split for your week and chooses each day's exercises from the library and your own — for what the built-in plans can't do, like a body-part focus or "nothing overhead"
- Your month in a few sentences, on Stats. Under your totals, At a glance says how the month is going: how it compares with last month, the days you've trained, which lifts are progressing or stalled and what's ready for more weight (with Pro), how your push and pull balance, and the records you set — every number from the screens you'd otherwise visit one by one
- Siri knows your routines. "Start Push Day in Gym Log+" starts that routine, and "What's my next workout in Gym Log+" answers from your program without opening the app. Your routines show up in Spotlight too
- Siri runs your workout. Say "pause my workout", "resume my workout", "next exercise" or "how's my workout going", each ending "in Gym Log+", and "What was my last workout in Gym Log+" and "How did I train this month in Gym Log+" answer without opening the app
- Your workouts and your training in Shortcuts. Get Last Workout, Get Recent Workouts, Get Training Summary and Get Training Statistic hand your finished workouts and any week, month or year to any shortcut as real values
- Discard a new routine. New Routine has a Discard button: with no exercises it just leaves, with exercises it asks first
The first four need Apple Intelligence turned on. Everything they write is written on your device — nothing leaves it — and a routine or plan they build is a starting point, not training advice. Siri and Shortcuts work on every iPhone and iPad the app runs on.
